Flu vaccination for hospitality and hotels

Three or four workforces under one roof, none of whom are free at the same time.

The constraint

A hotel or restaurant is not one workforce. Kitchen, front of house, housekeeping and maintenance run different hours, take breaks at different times and often have different first languages. A single clinic window catches one group and misses the rest.

How we run it

Department-specific windows

Separate blocks aligned to each team's natural downtime: mid-morning for housekeeping, mid-afternoon between service for kitchen and front of house.

Multilingual consent

Hospitality workforces are frequently multilingual. Consent has to be genuinely understood, not just signed.

Split-shift awareness

Staff working split shifts should not be asked to come in during their unpaid break. We schedule at the start or end of a paid segment.

Agency and casual scope

Agreed before the clinic, as with any sector using flexible labour.

Food handling and sickness policy

Hospitality has a harder sickness absence problem than most sectors, because food handlers with certain symptoms are legally excluded from work rather than choosing whether to attend. Influenza itself does not trigger an exclusion requirement in the way gastrointestinal illness does, but the practical effect of a December outbreak running through a kitchen brigade is the same: you cannot staff service.

The standard service

From £11.99 per person, reducing with team size. Quadrivalent vaccine, individual clinical screening, pharmacist administration, anaphylaxis cover and uptake reporting within 48 hours, all included. No setup fee, and you pay only for vaccinations actually given.

Common questions

Can you cover kitchen and front of house separately?

Yes. Department-specific windows aligned to each team's downtime are the standard approach for hospitality.

Can consent forms be provided in other languages?

Yes. Tell us which languages you need at the scoping call.

Can you cover several hotels in a group?

Yes, sequenced regionally with consolidated reporting across the estate.
